Ronald Kurtz 86, of Scenery Hill, PA passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Donnell House Washington.

         He was born August 3, 1932 in Waynesburg, Pa a son of the late Walter J. and Mary Rhodes   Kurtz.

Mr. Kurtz was a 1950 graduate of Bentleyville High School.

         He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

         Mr. Kurtz was co-owner of Kurtz Auto Parts & Auto Repair for over 50 years. He was also a self-employed farmer who raised beef cattle.

         Ronald was a 50 year member of F&AM Lodge #237, a member of the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Consistory Valley of Pittsburgh and the Ellsworth Sportsman’s Club.

         On June 12, 1957 he married Julia Ann Joris Kurtz who survives.

         Also surviving are two children, Mary Jo Kurtz-McAnulty (Bruce) of Bentleyville, PA and Ronald J. Kurtz (Mary Anne) of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces and nephews.

         Deceased in addition to his parents are one sister, Mona McFadyen and two brothers, William and Dale Kurtz. 

         Funeral Services are private and under the direction of the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 1645 West 8th St. Erie, PA 16505.
